Join the Team VFW 4927 Running Club on Saturday, July 26th at Southards Pond Park, Babylon, as they run and support the 5K for LI Veterans hosted by Strides for LI. This event is in support of 911 Veterans, a Long Island non-profit that provides emergency financial assistance to local military veterans. This organization helps with essential needs like housing, food, and utilities- especially during the transition from military to civilian life.

D-Day remembrance event in Port Jefferson Station

The VFW 4927 in Port Jefferson Station hosted a D-Day remembrance event on Thursday, June 6, to commemorate the veterans who fought at Normandy on June 6, 1944, a date that saw more than 2,500 American soldiers fall.
